Cockerel
Meet Billy the cockerel.
Billy, lives in our top pen with 18 young & healthy hens. Billy really does have the rule of the roost.
Our Eggs
The main bulk of our eggs are a light brown in colour which are laid on a daily basis by our lovely Warren hens.
You may come across a pure white egg this has been laid by one of our beautiful German Vorwerk hens. If your lucky you may even come across one of our eggs which is a very light turqouis in colour, this has been laid by the only Cream Legbar hen we have.
We Also have lovely duck eggs which are laid by our Khaki Campbells.
Feed
WITH SOME TREATS ALONG THE WAY!
Our Birds
Our Birds are very well loved and looked after, they are fed and given fresh water on a daily basis. Both sets of chickens and our ducks have lovely off the ground house’s, along with ampules of space to roam, play, dig, scratch and sunbathe at their leisure.
Our hens are under no pressure to lay which means the quantity of eggs we receive vairy from day to day season to season..
